The Riverton Branch Library will continue its second annual Native American Film Series on Wednesday with "The Activist," an award-winning film set in 1973 South Dakota.

During what has been known as the Wounded Knee insurrection, an armed stand-off takes place between Dakota warriors and the U.S. military.

The film will be shown at 7 p.m. in the library's Community Room.

The event is free to attend, and one audience member will win a copy of the film.
