The University of Nevada Center for Basque Studies presents author David Romtvedt who will read from and talking about his novel "Zelestina Urza in Outer Space," a story of a 16-year-old immigrant from a Basque village who finds herself in northern Wyoming, a land that seemed as distant and barren as the moon.
Romtvedt will be at the Riverton Branch Library at 7 p.m. Thursday. The public is welcome to attend the talk and listen to Romtvedt and Caitlin Belem as they perform Basque music. The event is free.
