May 7, 2017 From staff and wire reports

Killed were 64-year-old Neil Hines and 44-year-old Sydney Hines, both of Jeffrey City.

After a two-day water search, authorities have confirmed that two Fremont County residents died in a boating accident in Idaho.

A man from Washington state also was killed.

Identified among the three victims were 64-year-old Neil Hines and 44-year-old Sydney Hines, both of Jeffrey City.

The other victim was identified as Leo S. Britt, 69, of Grapeview, Washington.

The Bonneville (Idaho) County Sheriff's Office reported that the three apparently were trying to cross Palisades Reservoir on Thursday on a camping trip when their small motor boat capsized.

Investigators say their bodies were recovered Friday after rescue crews spent Thursday and part of Friday searching.

All three wore lifejackets, but investigators believe they died of hypothermia in the cold water before being able to reach shore.
