Barron's lists Vincent among top advisers

Jeffrey Vincent of Vincent Financial Services in Riverton has been named among the Top 1,200 financial advisers in the U.S. by Barron's, a leading financial magazine. He also was recognized as the No. 1 adviser in Wyoming by Barron's.

Vincent is affiliated with LPL Financial, the nation's largest independent broker/dealer. He has been a registered representative for 29 years, owning and operating Vincent Financial Services since 1991.

The annual list highlights top-performing financial advisors from across the country. Selection is based on data and information provided by more than 4,000 topl advisers. Factors considered in determining the rankings include: assets under management, revenue generated for their firms, regulatory record, quality of practice and philanthropic work.

Temporary tax licenses offered for eclipse

Next month, the "Great American Eclipse" is coming to Wyoming. Eclipse planning meetings are happening all over the state. Topics from community safety to business opportunities are beingdiscussed.

'Biz for artists' webinar offered weekly

Wyoming artists may enjoy losing themselves in their creations, but it is important for them also to learn how to market and sell their work.

To assist them, a six-part Creative Content Camp webinar series, titled "Wyoming Artists, Crafters, Musicians: Promote Your Work Effectively Online," and sponsored by the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC), runs each Wednesday through Aug. 16, from 2-3 p.m.

The SBDC is a partnership among the University of Wyoming, the Wyoming Business Council and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
