Delthe McLeod passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper. She was 60 years old.
She was born Oct. 27, 1956, in Lander, the daughter of the late Joseph and Rosie McLeod.
She lived most of her life on the Wind River Indian Reservation and also lived in Washington and Denver.
She was employed as a forklift operator in Washington.
She attended schools at Mill Creek Elementary and Pierre, South Dakota.
She enjoyed Native American beading, going to the casino, outings and being with her family and friends.
She is survived by daughters Chelsie Wagon and Tima Tillman; sons Harvey, Brandon and Robert McLeod; sister, Gaylene Wagon; brothers Marvin and Eltin McLeod; and grandchildren Nessa and Kieth McLeod and one other grandson.
She was preceded in death by Virgil and Clinton McLeod; and parents, Jospeh and Rosie McLeod.
An evening service and wake was held at 6 p.m. Friday, July 14, at the family residence, #48 Boulder Flats Spur Lane. Traditional Indian funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 15, at the family residence, with Ray Price officiating. Interment will be in the Sacajawea Cemetery.
