Nancy Nichols Gimple (Clark) of Lander died Saturday, July 29, 2017, at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper. She was 82.
Memorial services are at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, at Faith Lutheran Church in Lander.
She was born Nov. 6, 1934, in Grand Island, Nebraska. She graduated high school April 6, 1952.
On April 11, 1952, she married Roland (Rolly) Gimple. They were married 65 years. They raised three children: Steven Craig, Renee Kay and Edward George.
The Gimples moved to Lander in 1957.
"Nancy was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend," her family said. She was involved with Does for many years, enjoyed making crafts for the yearly Faith Lutheran Church Bizarre and watching the Denver Broncos.
She is survived by her husband, Rolly; children Steve and his wife, Valri, of Lakewood, Colorado, Renee Hancock and her husband, Frank, of Lander, and Ed and his wife, Wendy, of Lander; grandchildren Sarah Heinrich and her husband, Jeff, Kayla Deal and her husband, Traux, Kelsie Gimple and her husband, Henry Chavez, Lucas Gimple and Tiffiny; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ruth Clark; and her sisters Joann Hanchew and Kay Tanner.
