A daughter was born to Lydia Amos of Lander at 5 p.m. Sept. 14 at SageWest Health Care at Lander. The baby weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces.

A son was born to Breana Keith of Lander and Owen Salmo of Lander at 8:56 p.m. at SageWest Health Care at Lander. The baby weighed 8 pounds, 1.4 ounces.

PARKER

Shirley Parker, 71, of Lander, passed away Friday, Sept. 15, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 22, 2017 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 626 Cascade in Lander. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m., also in the church. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.

WOLFE

Dolores Wolfe, 87, of Riverton, passed away Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017, at the Help for Health Hospice Home. There will be a viewing 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017, at Davis Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017, at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Greeley, Colorado.

RANSOM

Robert Charles Ransom, 89 of Dubois, passed away Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017, in Riverton, after suffering from dementia. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, 2017, at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Casper, with military honors.

ROSENBERG

Melvin "Mel" Rosenberg, 69, of Riverton, passed away Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 22, 2017, at Davis Funeral Home.

In Riverton Police Department reports Thursday through Monday:

Kristen Antelope, 24, of Riverton, was arrested at about 1 a.m. Thursday on Sycamore Drive for simple assault and on an outstanding Fremont County warrant. Officials said she assaulted another woman; no serious injuries were recorded.

Myron Perry, 30, of Riverton, was arrested at about 1:45 a.m. Thursday in the 100 block of South Fifth Street East for domestic assault and on an outstanding Fremont County warrant. Officials said he grabbed his girlfriend "inappropriately" and "caused a bit of pain;" no major inureis were recorded.

Police responded at about 9:45 a.m. Thursday to reports that a counterfeit $100 bill had been detected in the 2100 block of North Federal Boulevard.

Police responded at about 5:35 p.m. Thursday to reports that a jug of change had been stolen from an apartment in the 100 block of North Seventh Street West.

Steven Willow, 42, of Riverton, was arrested at about 7:20 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of East Jefferson Avenue for simple battery. Reports state he had seen an argument taking place nearby and "thought he needed to get involved," so he grabbed a skateboard and hit a woman in the face. She was transported to the local hospital to be treated for minor lacerations, according to reports. Officials said Patrick Duran, 28, of Riverton, who had been involved in the initial argument, fled the scene at that time, but he returned to the area at about 9:40 p.m. Thursday and "started breaking out windows." He was arrested for vandalism and on a probation and parole warrant.

Josiah Bell, 19, of Riverton, was arrested at about 9:20 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of South Federal Boulevard for theft and on two outstanding Fremont County warrants. Officials were responding to reports that someone had taken a bike from a porch in the area. The reporting party followed Bell, according to reports, and when police contacted him he said he had taken the bike, which was returned to its owner.

Two bikes were reported stolen at about 10:05 p.m. Thursday from a residence in the 1300 block of South Federal Boulevard.

Police responded at about 10:40 p.m. Thursday to reports that a woman had struck an owl with her vehicle in the 800 block of North Federal Boulevard. The owl was stuck between the grill and bumper of the vehicle and was still alive, officials said, but experts from the Wyoming Game and Fish Department determined it should be euthanized due to the extent of its injuries.

Tashena Jealous, 32, of Riverton, was arrested at about 11:45 p.m. Thursday in the 2400 block of East Adams Avenue on two outstanding Fremont County warrants.

Police responded at about 12:45 a.m. Friday to reports that a 37-year-old Riverton man had broken into his ex-girlfriend's residence in the 1300 block of South Federal Boulevard and damaged property inside of the home. He had left the scene before officers arrived, but officials said a citation has been prepared for property damage and criminal entry.

Benjamin Piper, 52, of Riverton, and Christopher SunRhodes, 63, of Arapahoe, both were arrested at about 7:45 a.m. Friday in the 600 block of North Federal Boulevard for public intoxication; Piper also was arrested for trespassing. Police were responding to reports of loitering in the area.

A 17-year-old Riverton boy was arrested at about 8:55 a.m. Friday in the Riverton area for use of a controlled substance after a positive urinalysis test.

Police responded at about 9:30 a.m. Friday to reports of domestic abuse in the 500 block of North 10th Street East. The male suspect was not located, but officials say they know who he is and have begun the process of obtaining a warrant for his arrest.

A 15-year-old Riverton boy was cited at about 12:10 p.m. Friday in the 2000 block of West Sunset Drive for assault.

Police responded at about 2:15 p.m. Friday to reports that a license plate had been removed from a 2014 Ford truck in the 1300 block of East Sunset Drive.

Police responded at about 6 p.m. Friday to reports that a truck had struck a marquee in the 300 block of East Main Street. The suspect vehicle left the scene, according to reports.

Bikes were reported stolen at about 8:50 p.m. Friday from the 900 block of Moose Drive.

Daniel Black, 36, of Riverton, was arrested at about 11:20 p.m. Friday in the 1200 block of East Fremont Avenue for simple assault and on an outstanding Riverton municipal court warrant. Police were responding to reports of a fight in the area.

A 15-year-old Houston, Texas, boy and a 17-year-old Riverton boy both were cited at about 1:20 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of East Monroe Avenue for minor under the influence. They were released to responsible parties, officials said.

An 18-year-old Riverton woman and a 15-year-old Ethete boy were cited at about 2:05 a.m. Saturday in the 700 block of East Monroe Avenue for minor in possession.

Michael Lynch, 58, of Greeley, Colorado, was arrested at about 3:05 a.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of North Federal boulevard for public intoxication.

Police responded at about 9:20 a.m. Saturday to reports that someone had taken backpacks and change out of a vehicle in the 500 block of South First Street.

Police responded at about 10:35 a.m. Saturday to reports of an assault in the Riverton area. A citation has been prepared for a 17-year-old Riverton girl, officials said.

David Bartel, 50, of Riverton, was arrested at about 8:50 p.m. Saturday in the 900 block of Moose Drive for domestic assault. Minor injuries were recorded after he reportedly grabbed a woman inappropriately and scratched her.

Corey Shakespeare, 28, of Arapahoe, was arrested at about 9:20 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of South Second Street on an outstanding Riverton municipal warrant.

Police responded at about 1:40 a.m. Sunday to reports that a turquoise 2014 Toyota Prius with license place 10-P251 had been stolen in the 100 block of West Jackson Avenue. The reporting party said the vehicle had been parked since 9:30 p.m. Saturday, and a key may have been left in the car.

Fallon Addison, 34, of Arapahoe, was arrested at about 4:15 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of East Main Street on an outstanding Riverton municipal warrant.

Eric McAllister, 36, of Riverton, was arrested at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday in the 500 block of North 15th Street East for domestic battery.

William Posey, 34, of Riverton, was arrested at about 9:50 p.m. Sunday in the 2000 block of Webbwood Road on an outstanding Riverton municipal warrant for contempt of court.

Seth Blackburn, 28, of Arapahoe, was arrested at about 1:40 a.m. Monday in the 200 block of East Monroe Avenue for public intoxication.

Matthew Behan, 27, of Riverton, was arrested at about 8:30 a.m. Monday in the 1300 block of South Federal Boulevard on an outstanding Fremont County warrant for failure to appear. Also arrested was Laterra Duran, 27, of Casper, on an outstanding Riverton municipal warrant for failure to appear.

Aloysius Piper, 50, of Ethete, was arrested at about 3:15 p.m. Monday in the 1300 block of West Park Avenue for public intoxication.

Forrest Duran, 46, of Riverton, and Chalice Shakespeare, 50, of Riverton, both were arrested at about 6:50 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of South 10th Street East for pedestrian under the influence.

In Fremont County Sheriff's Office weekend reports through Monday:

The Wyoming Highway Patrol responded at about 10:15 a.m. Saturday to reports that a sport-utility vehicle had left the road and hit a fence in the 1500 block of Sand Draw Road south of Riverton.

Deputies responded at about 9:15 p.m. Saturday to reports of a break-in in Dubois.

Minor injuries were recorded after a truck struck a culvert after running off of the roadway at about 9:45 a.m. Sunday on Green Mountain Road near Jeffrey City, according to reports.

Gloria Wass, 57, of Hudson, was arrested at about 8:45 a.m. Monday in the 5600 block of U.S. Highway 287 in Lander on a Campbell County warrant for failure to appear.

Kelvin Smith, 26, of Riverton, was arrested at about 10:45 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of South 11th Street East in Riverton for driving under the influence and careless driving.
