Care facility in Riverton gets new operator

EmpRes Healthcare has announced that it has leased three Wyoming skilled nursing centers from Care Capital Properties, Inc. the landlord of the facilities.

Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation-Wind River in Riverton is included in the deal. Kindred Healthcare-owned facilities in Cheyenne and Rawlins also are affected.

Headquartered in Vancouver, Wash., EmpRes Healthcare now operates four post-acute care and long-term skilled centers in Wyoming with a combined 371 beds, according to a release.

"We are exceptionally pleased to add these new facilities to our portfolio as it gives us an opportunity to broaden the services we offer to the senior population of Wyoming,"R00;EmpRes Healthcare CEOR00;Dale Patterson stated in a release. "We anticipate investing in the facilities to improve the quality of life for those entrusted to our care."

All of the staff at the three separate locations will join the EmpRes Healthcare team, the release stated.
