Another spring snowstorm visited Fremont County overnight Monday and Tuesday, dropping as much as 8 inches in some locations. Riverton has recorded .53 inch of precipitation by early afternoon Tusday, breaking the record for the date at the airport weather station and threatening the all-time city record of .58 from 1933. Lander registered .52 inch, well short of the 1.24-inch record, also set in 1933.
