Idabell Robinson

No services are scheduled for Idabell Robinson, who died Saturday, June 18, 2016, at SageWest Hospital in Riverton. Cremation has taken place.Idabell Swett was born June 12, 1926, in Vernal, Utah, daughter of Oscar and Emma Elizabeth (Osler) Swett.

She grew up on the Swett Ranch in the Uintah Mountains. She attended schools in Manilla and Vernal, Utah.

On Oct. 1, 1946, she married Woodrow Robinson in Vernal. They moved to Rawlins, where they remained for 35 years before moving to Lander and living there for 36 years.

Mrs. Robinson cooked and cleaned rooms at the Greens Lake Lodge in the Uintah Mountains. She enjoyed gardening, canning, word search games, and spending time in the great outdoors. She also liked to take long drives and visit with her family and friends.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Survivors include her sons, Randy (Gloria) Robinson of Rawlins, Glen Robinson of Rawlins and Kenneth Robinson of Lander; daughters Trina Linn of Lander, Shirley Robinson of Lander, Lora (Mike) Koenig of Riverton, and Sara Robinson of Lander; sisters Mern Moore of Roosevelt, Utah and Wilda Irish of Moab, Utah; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, son Carl Robinson, and daughter Jean Cox.
