Phyllis J. Bouma

Phyllis J. Bouma died June 19, 2016, at the Wind River Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Riverton.

She was 92.

No services are scheduled, and cremation has taken place under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bouma was born on April 28, 1924, in Topeka, Kansas, daughter of Earl A. and Maude N. (Werst) Gildehous.

She married David A. Bouma on June 8, 1942, in Lordsburg, New Mexico.

Mrs. Bouma was a 50-year member of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her son, Don A. Bouma of Riverton; daughter, Lorraine P. (Bouma) Bundy; brother, Arlen Gildehouse; sisters Vivian (Gildehous) Hunter, Winnifred (Gildehous) Glenn and Gretchen (Gildehous) Cosby; and five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers Bob Gildehous and George Gildehous.
