Phyllis Randall

Phyllis Randall of Riverton died Thursday, July 13, 2017, at the Help for Health Hospice Home. She was 91 years old.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Phyllis Irene Buttle was born Oct. 29, 1925, in Big Springs, Nebraska, to John Raymond and Bertha Pauline (Zalman) Buttle. She grew up and attended schools in Nebraska.

She was of the Episcopal faith. She was also a member of the Riverton Garden Club and enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She married Floyd Eugene Randall on Dec. 6, 1941, in Sidney, Nebraska. They were married for 39 years until his death in 1980. They raised their family, which consisted of 10 children, in Nebraska, Colorado, before moving to Wyoming in 1971. Their four youngest graduated from Riverton High School.

The Randalls were high school rodeo sponsors during the time their children, Jeff and Brian, were attending Riverton High School.

Phyllis Randall is survived by her sons Jerry (Rachel) Randall, Frank Randall, John "Jack" (Jerrene) Randall, Michael (Patti) Randall, Jeff (Cindy) Randall and Brian Randall; daughters Betty Dolcater, Barbara Randall, Sandy Randall and Judy Randall; special family friend Jodie Sloan; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Randall; her parents, four brothers, and seven sisters.
