A meeting Thursday at 7 p.m. will examine the history of the current system of grazing on Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Forest Service lands. Permit holder rights, as well as protest and appeals processes, will be discussed. Cody Doig, an attorney from Denver, will also address the growing theory that ranchers have a vested and compensable property right in grazing allotments.
The meeting will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Holiday Inn. Meetings are sponsored by Wyoming Stock Growers Association and Wyoming Wool Growers Association.
