Wyoming forward Washington suspended indefinitelyApr 5, 2012 - Associated Press Wyoming forward suspended indefinitely LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) -- Wyoming redshirt junior forward Leonard Washington has been suspended from the men's basketball team indefinitely.
UW coach Larry Shyatt says in a statement released Wednesday by the university that Washington has failed to meet certain expectations and standards.
Shyatt declined further comment.
Washington was a second team All-Mountain West selection this past season. He averaged 12.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.1 blocks in 32 starts for the Cowboys. |
