I have been as interested as the next person in the story of Gerald Uden and the murder of his former wife and the two boys. But I am wondering is if it really is advisable to try to get to the bottom of Fremont Lake and bring their bodies up.
I also wonder if it is even true that the bodies are down there. Gerald Uden did nothing but lie for 30 years or more. How can we be sure he is telling the truth now?
Even if the bodies are there as he claims, part of me thinks maybe the best thing to do would be to leave them be rather than go through the whole process of bringing them back up. We retrieve the barrels with the bodies inside, and then what?
Is there a family member involved? I would think that if a family member could be found somewhere, whoever that might be should have something to say about it.
If it were my relatives, I am not sure, but I think I might be OK with knowing where they were and what had happened and leaving it at that.
