Nov 26, 2013 - StaffLeigh "Conan" Morgan Henning died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, at his home in Lander. He was 68 years old.
Cremation has taken place, and celebration of life services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at the Wind River Baptist Church in Ethete.
Leigh "Conan" Morgan Henning was born Jan. 18, 1945, in Janesville, Wis., the son of the late Richard and Geraldine Henning.
He was raised and attended schools in Whitewater, Wis.
He served in the U.S. Army where he received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Metal with three Bronze Service Stars and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Metal and was a marksman.
His family said he enjoyed cutting teepee poles, photography, woodworking, gold panning in the Atlantic City area and being around his friends.
He is survived by his companion, Patricia Evans; sister Leslie A. Henning Wolf; brother Richard J. Henning Jr.; nieces and nephews Christopher and Raymond Wolf, Colton and Briann Henning, and Brianna Lee and Tyrel Wolf.
He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew Patrick Wolf, and grandparents Ozzie and Nellie Bohn and Melvin and Francine Henning.
