Key Club set to deliver hot Thanksgiving meals Thursday

The Riverton High School Key Club again plans to deliver warm meals this Thanksgiving to anyone wanting to enjoy a ready-to-eat turkey dinner.

"Everyone deserves a great homemade meal this Thanksgiving," said Key Club adviser Claire Peart. "Nearly 500 meals were delivered last year."

Meal requests can be made by calling the Riverton Senior Citizens Center at 856-6332, and food donations can be made by contacting Peart at 851-6507.

All requests for meals with be accepted. The only information required is the number of meals needed and an address for delivery.

Each meal will be packaged individually to include turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, sweet potatoes, a salad, cranberries, pie and bread rolls.

Community members are encouraged to get in touch with the club if they'd like to contribute in any other way.
