Nov 26, 2013 - The Associated PressGILLETTE -- Gillette Mayor Tom Murphy has resigned to pursue a business opportunity with his son. The city council will name a successor next month.
Murphy resigned effective Monday to work with his son in the highway construction business. Murphy says the work will take him out of Gillette for long periods.
