Dec 5, 2013 - From staff reportsJamey Kirkland, of Davis Funeral Home in Riverton, has been appointed to the National Funeral Directors Association Professional Development Committee for 2013-2014. NFDA committee members have a significant effect on the association, its members and the funeral service profession at-large.
Members of the committee select the educational programming presented at NFDA's International Convention and Expo, the world's largest annual gathering of funeral service professionals. This programming helps the association's worldwide membership enhance the quality of service they provide to families.
"We are pleased that Jamey has accepted his appointment to the NFDA Professional Development Committee," CEO Christine Pepper said. "The committee's work in the coming year will help NFDA fulfill its mission of supporting funeral directors as they provide families with meaningful end-of-life services at the highest levels of excellence and integrity."
