Nancy Ann Robertson

Nancy Ann Robertson, of Lander, died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013, at her home. She was 75 years old.

A viewing is at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Lander, followed by a rosary at 7 p.m. A memorial mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with Father Erickson officiating. Inurnment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.

Nancy Ann Phillips was born Feb. 20, 1938, the daughter of Thomas Henry and Virginia (Fitterer) Phillips in Laramie. She attended schools in Laramie and graduated from high school there.

On Aug. 12, 1961, she married Robert D. Robertson in Laramie. They raised five children, and in 1976 the family moved to Lander where Mrs. Robertson spent the rest of her life.

She was of the Catholic faith and was a member of St. Anne's CCW. In the past she had been a volunteer with St.. Bonaventures in Thoreau, N.M., and with St. Jude's Ranch for Children in Boulder City, Nev. She was also an election judge.

Her family said she enjoyed playing Bridge.

She is survived by her sons, DJ Robertson and his wife Vickie of Douglas, John Robertson and his wife Lorainne of Albuquerque, N.M., and Wayne Robertson and his wife Jill of Lander; daughter Ann Mitchell and her husband Wade of Lander; brothers Terrance Phillips of Hamilton, Mont., and William Phillips of Sheridan; sister Kathleen Jones of Casper; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert "Bob" Robertson, and her son Dale Anthony Robertson.
