Dec 9, 2013 - From staff reportsAuditions for Central Wyoming College Theater Department's production of "The Music Man" are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday in the Robert A. Peck Art Center.
"The Music Man" -- a Broadway hit in 1957 that earned five Tony Awards, including best musical -- will be performed Feb. 28 to March 2. Rehearsals begin Jan. 13.
There are roughly 50 roles for men, women and children.
Auditions Tuesday are devoted to singing and will be on the main stage at the arts center. Director Mike Myers asks the performers to prepare a song from a Broadway musical.
Acting auditions are Wednesday in room 157 at the center. Actors will be asked to read from the script.
