Dec 9, 2013 - From staff reportsArt in the Afternoon, featuring wares made by local artisans, is Sunday at the Nobel Hotel, 288 Main St., Lander.
The event is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Lander Art Center members may get a preview from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Admission is $2 or by donation with proceeds going toward Lander Art Center programming.
Four rooms at the hotel will house more than 50 local and regional artists selling their artwork and handmade items, including jewelry, woodwork and pottery. New artists also will be in attendance.
The Lander Art Center will sell art supplies and gifts and have a children's art activity table.
The Lander Valley High School Art Club will have food and drink available for purchase, while Maverick Restaurant and Lounge will offer complimentary mimosas and eggnog.
