Stanley Wayne Bain

Dec 16, 2013 - Staff

Stanley Wayne Bain, of Hudson, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013. He was 64 years old.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars, 11 Tweed Lane, Lander. All are welcome.

Stan Bain was born Oct. 26, 1949, the son of Bob and Betty Bain. He had two older sisters, Debbie and Jenny.

As a young man he loved to dance and was an accomplished swimmer.

His family said he was a simple man who had many wonderful experiences throughout his life. They said he enjoyed playing darts and spending time with his family and boating at the lake. He had a unique passion for cars and couldn't resist a good fixer-upper.

His family said his unyielding generosity touched and helped man people, from family and friends to those he barely knew. He gave everyone the benefit of the doubt, even if he'd given it before, and if he could help in some way, he did.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, JoAnn; sons David Bain, Brian Bain and his wife Terry of Washington, and Michael Pingatore of Lander; daughter Misty Pingatore; and three grandchildren of Lander.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Donations can be made to the Bain family in care of the VFW in Lander.
