Dec 22, 2013 - By Katie Roenigk, Staff WriterA Lander woman was cited for lane use and no seat belt after flipping her car at about 9:20 a.m. Thursday on Wyoming Highway 789 south of Lander.
Officials said Jennifer Campbell, 32, of Lander, was driving toward town on icy roads when she lost control of her 1991 Chevy Lumina on a hill near the highway's intersection with Carpenter Road.
"She skidded into the ditch and put it on its roof," said Lander Rural Fire Department chief Dave Peevey.
Wyoming Highway Patrol Lt. Tom Adams said the car landed about 100 feet from the road.
"She was traveling the speed limit but too fast for conditions," Adams said.
Campbell was transported to Lander Regional Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
