Two Class 3-A East girls basketball teams knocked off the Lander Valley High School Tigers Friday and Saturday at Bob Carey Memorial Fieldhouse.

Wheatland escaped with a 71-68 overtime win on Friday night vs. the Tigers to begin the two-day Lander Classic.

Lander ended the tournament late Saturday night with Douglas, considered a state-title contender in the Class 3-A division.
