Dec 24, 2013 - By Katie Roenigk, Staff WriterA Riverton man was found dead Sunday morning at City Park.
Officials said his body was frozen.
Dana Eagle, 36, of Riverton, will be autopsied Thursday in Loveland, Colo. The procedure would have taken place sooner, but Coroner Ed McAuslan said the body had to thaw first.
"When they're frozen like this, a human body takes quite awhile to thaw," McAuslan said. "We just have to wait and see."
He said there was no evidence of foul play associated with the death.
"There was no trauma on him," McAuslan said.
The call came in just before 9 a.m. Sunday, when someone reported an intoxicated subject in the park.
"When the officer arrived he found the man was not alive," Riverton Police Department chief Mike Broadhead said.
