Dec 26, 2013 - StaffBelvia L. "Boots" Lummus, of Pavillion, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, at her home. She was 75 years old.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, at Davis Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery.
Belvia Louise Austin was born Aug. 24, 1938, in Charleston, W.V., the daughter of Enis and Cleo (Rankin) Austin. She attended schools in West Virginia and graduated high school in Charleston, W.V.
She spent time in Ohio before moving to Pavillion in 1974.
On May 8, 1984, she married Bob Lummus in Laramie.
She worked for many years as a store clerk in the grocery business.
She was a member of the Eagles and was a VFW Auxiliary member.
Her family said she enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, gardening, canning, traveling and anything to do with traveling.
She is survived by her sons, Marshall Pickering of Florida, Tim Pickering of Colorado, Greg Pickering of Colorado, and Kevin Justice of Wyoming; stepson Robbie Lummus of Arizona; brothers E.J. Austin and Rusty Austin; sisters Jean Austin, and Carolyn Austin; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Chobby Austin and Bobby Austin; and sisters Barbara Austin, Betty Austin and Jo Austin.
Memorials may be made Amedisys Hospice in care of Davis Funeral Home, 2203 W. Main St., Riverton, WY 82501.
