Dec 27, 2013 - StaffWillett "Billie" Scarpelli, of Riverton, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, at Westward Heights Care Center in Lander. She was 91 years old.
A viewing will be 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 29, at Davis Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 30, at Davis Funeral Home. A private burial will follow.
Willette Maxine Corby was born July 20, 1922, in Lincoln, Neb., the daughter of William and Lelia (McElroy) Corby. She came from a large family. She graduated high school in Papillion, Neb.
She lived in Riverton for 45 years.
On March 15, 1980, she married Frank Scarpelli at the United Methodist Church in Evanston.
She worked for many years at the 12th Street Medical Clinic in Riverton, retiring in 1984.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
She was also a member of the Lady's Auxiliary of the VFW Post 1693 in Riverton.
Her family said she loved her grandchildren, and she also enjoyed horses, fishing, hunting, animals and the outdoors.
She is survived by her husband, Frank; daughters Kim Roach of Aurora, Colo., and Karen Wilson of Cheyenne; and grandchildren Nicole, Chad and Danny.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Don, and several brothers and sisters.
Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church in care of Davis Funeral Home, 2203 W. Main St., Riverton, WY 82501.
