Bryan Jenkins

Bryan Jenkins, of Riverton, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at Lander Valley Medical Center. He was 29 years old.

A rosary and wake will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, at Great Plains Hall. A funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, officiated by Father Phil Wagner. Burial will follow at Arapaho Catholic Cemetery.

Bryan Michael James Jenkins was born May 26, 1984, in Lander, the son of David Martin and Irene (Jenkins) Dewey. He attended Big Horn Children's Center and Lander Valley High School.

He lived in the Riverton/Lander area and worked at the Wyoming State Training School.

He is survived by his parents, David and Irene Dewey; sisters Katera Jenkins, Kimberly Potter, Kristy Potter, Baby Kathryn Jenkins, Shaylee Underwood, Tiesha Underwood, Teryl Jenkins and Clairiss Jenkins; brothers Aaron Underwood, Baby Kevin Jenkins and Isaac Jenkins; grandparents Violet LoneBear, Charlotte LoneDog and family, Leonard J. Moss Sr. and family, Rose LoneBear and family, Debbie Jenkins and family, Becky Kuka and family, Donna Goodman and family, Thelma Dewey and family, Melody Spoonhunter and family, Darrell and Pam LoneBear and family, Crocky and Francine LoneBear and family, William "Benji" LoneBear and family, Theresa Moss and family, Lynda Munnell and family, and Michael Blackburn and family; aunts Kathy Jenkins and Tina Jenkins; uncles Arapaho Oldman, Big Tom Jenkins, Big Kevin Jenkins Sr., Allen Jenkins Sr. and Marcus Gardner Sr.; nieces Tazlynn Jenkins, Tylence SunRhodes, TiaRah Williams, Krista LaDeaux, Arionna Underwood and Prayla Underwood; and nephews Tyrone SunRhodes, Taylor SunRhodes, Shadow Underwood and Warrior Underwood.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, William L. and Ione LoneBear, George and Clarice Jenkins, and Irvin and Lavern LoneBear Brown; grandmother Florita Jenkins; grandfathers John Kuka, Isaac Jenkins, Sherman, Kenneth, Clarence Jenkins, Johnny Goodman, "Poncho" Richard LoneDog and Sonny Jenkins; and aunts and uncles Karla and Lisa Jenkins, Ernest "Crack" Jenkins, Bryan, Michael and Isaac Jenkins, Winter Rose Jenkins, Camille and Carlos Goodman, Theodore "Teddy" Raigosa, Johnny Robert Green, Frank Allen Jeffery, Clarence Verdale Lee, Rose Ann Jeffery, Steven Lawrence Moss "Tooks," Baby Boy Jenkins, Justin Jude SunRhodes Jr. and Luv Lynn LaDeaux.
