Eva Marie Sutton

Eva Marie Sutton died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, at Lander Regional Hospital. She was 70 years old.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17, in the Community Entry Services Hudson Center, 177 N. Third St., Lander. She will be buried next to her sister Jackie in Douglas.

Eva Marie Sutton was born in Douglas, the daughter of Francis and Fern (Dorothy) Sutton.

She was a resident of the Wyoming Life Resource Center in Lander from 1950 through 1980. After 1980 she lived in various group homes in Lander operated by CES. She also had participated in day programming with CES since 1980.

Her family said she loved her large collection of angels and doing arts and crafts, shopping, and decorating for the holidays.

She is survived by her guardian, Virginia Wright of Lander; aunt Ruth Stieb of Casper; uncle Carl Dorothy of Powell; and many friends and the staff at CES.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Mary Jacqueline "Jackie" Sutton and Julia Dunn; aunt Eva Trenholm; and uncle Edward Dorothy.
