Jan 27, 2014 - From staff reportsCWC extends contracts
Two top administrators at Central Wyoming College received contract extensions during the January board meeting at the school.
The multiyear contracts must be ratified by the CWC Board of Trustees before renewal.
The contract for Jason Wood, CWC's executive vice president for student and academic services, was extended by one year. His appointment now is ratified through June 30, 2016.
The CWC Board of Trustees voted to extend Ron Granger's contract through the same date. He is the school's vice president for administrative services. CWC president Jo Anne McFarland pointed out that this month's ratification marked Granger's first multiyear contract at the school.
McFarland also announced the extension of the administrative contract covering Wyoming Public Broadcasting Service general manager Ruby Calvert. Calvert's contract was extended through June 30, 2014; the action did not require board approval.
McFarland did not have any early retirement requests to share during the January meeting, but she said she may have some to announce in February.
