Charles R. Adams, formerly of Fremont County, died Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, in Payson, Ariz. He was 81 years old.

Services are pending.

Charles R. Adams was born Jan. 16, 1932, in Riverton, the son of Delbert and Alta (Gardner) Adams.

He graduated from Pavillion High School in 1951. He entered the U. S. Navy out of high school and served for 20 years. He then worked for American Airlines for 15 years.

He married his first wife, Ruby, in Hawaii and adopted her daughter, Allana. The couple had two daughters, Sandra and Jamie. They later divorced.

He later married Yoshi Jones, who had five children.

He is survived by his wife, Yoshi; daughter Jamie; five stepchildren; five grandchildren; sister-in-law Bonnie Adams; and three nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Sandra, parents, and brother, Delbert Adams Jr.

Services are pending at the veterans cemetery in Phoenix.
