In Tuesday's Ranger, the page one story "Hospital helpers" included an incorrect last name. The correct name full name should have been Karla Kucera.
Duane E. Carson, 80, of Anchorage, Alaska, died Tuesday, April 10, at the home of his son, Dean Carson, in Riverton. Local arrangements are by the Davis Funeral Home of Riverton.
Laurie A. Grosgebauer, 44, of Lander, died Wednesday, April 4. Services will be at a later date. Condolences may be sent to Atlantic City Federal Credit Union or Silver Spur Lanes.
Memorial services for Margaret L. "Peggy" Hixson, 72, of Pavillion, are at 1 a.m. Friday, April 13, at 105 W. Pavillion Road, Pavillion. Cremation has taken place. Mrs. Hixson died Thursday, April 5, at the Lander Regional Hospital.
William F. "Bill" Lamming, 83, of Riverton, died Sunday, April 8, at Riverton Memorial Hospital. Memorial services are at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 13, at the United Methodist Church of Riverton. Cremation has taken place. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Memorial services for former Riverton resident William C. "Bill" McBroom, 86, are at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 2, at Evergreen Cemetery in Superior, Neb. Mr. McBroom died Friday, Feb. 10, in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Ruby Pearl Miller, 82, of Arapaho, died Sunday, April 8, at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Colo. Services are at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 14 at the Davis Funeral Home of Riverton.
Richard N. "Rich" Skinner, 77, died Sunday, April 8, at his home in Riverton. Memorial services are at 2 p.m. Friday, April 13, at the Davis Funeral Home of Riverton.
Wyoming Game and Fish Department Public Meeting is at 6 p.m. at the Wyoming Game and Fish Department Office, Lander. Game and Fish seeks public comment on wolf management draft regulations. The regulations specify the Trophy Game Management Area boundary; the department's process for collecting genetic material to monitor genetic connectivity within the northern Rocky Mountains; rules for lethal take of gray wolves; options for non-lethal gray wolf control; population management goals; hunt areas; and seasons and bag limits for a potential 2012 gray wolf hunting season.
"Film: My Life As a Turkey" is at 7 p.m. in the Little Theater at the Lander Library, 200 Amoretti St. Documentary features Joe Hutto and his unique experience raising "wild" turkeys. Hutto will be available to answer questions after the showing. The film is part of the Earth Day Film Series.

In Riverton police reports from Tuesday to Wednesday morning:
- John Chavez, 29, of Riverton, was arrested for public intoxication.
- Alan Brown, 60, of Riverton, was arrested for contempt of court.
- The RPD responded to vehicle crash at about 3:39 p.m. on Tuesday concerning a 5-year-old on a bicycle reportedly struck by a semi tractor-trailer. The collision occurred at 430 East Monroe Ave. and South Fifth East Street.
The child's injuries are unknown, but a Riverton ambulance bus did respond to the scene, according to the Fremont County Sheriff's dispatch log.
The crash is being investigated by the RPD, and calls made to the department were not immediately returned.
In Fremont County Sheriff's Office reports from Tuesday to Wednesday morning:
- Michael Downey, 25, of Riverton, was arrested for bond revocation.
- Jason Knigge, 30, of Casper, was arrested for probation revocation.
- Delaney Shoyo, 20, of Fort Washakie, was arrested on a warrant.
- During the same time period, ambulance crews responded to 16 calls for service and firefighters responded to six calls.
- Fremont County Coroner Ed McAuslan said the 32-year-old Riverton man found dead in his apartment Monday afternoon likely died from exsanguination due to a medical condition.
"He bled to death internally," McAuslan said.
Michael Horton's body was found at 1:19 p.m. on Monday at an apartment in the 300 block of South First Street. An autopsy was conducted Tuesday afternoon in Loveland, Colo.
Although McAuslan said the preliminary report indicates Horton died from exsanguination, he intends to wait until the full autopsy report is complete in four to six weeks before ruling a cause of death.
