Feb 13, 2014 - The Associated PressJACKSON -- Six snowmobilers from Minnesota are unharmed after spending a night stuck in the Wyoming back country near Togwotee Pass in the Bridger-Teton National Forest.
Max Jacoby, Richie Jacoby, Kyle Ryman, Aaron Peine, Brent Zeien and Travis Krinkle of Hastings, Minn., were found 11 miles southwest of Togwotee Mountain Lodge on Wednesday afternoon. Fremont County Search and Rescue crews assisted in the search.
The group rented snow machines at the lodge Tuesday but did not return at the end of the day and were reported missing.
Teton County Undersheriff Bob Gilliam says the six men were experienced snowmobilers who got stuck in deep snow. When they could not get out by dark, they spent the night in the back country and built a fire to stay warm.
