Riverton Branch Library to show American Indian film

The Riverton Branch Library will show the coming-of-age suspense thriller "On the Ice" at 7 p.m. Feb. 26.

The film was a Sundance Grand Jury Nominee and won Best New American Film at the Seattle International Film Festival in 2011.

"On the Ice" is centered on the lives of young men in a rural, Inuit village in arctic Alaska.

The library will have a drawing for two free copies of the movie, and winners must be present to receive the prize.
