Feb 17, 2014 - StaffElnora Mae Maxson died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, in Riverton. She was 97 years old.
There will be no services, and interment has taken place at Mountain View Cemetery.
Elnora Mae Maxson was born Dec. 10, 1916, in Burwell, Neb., the daughter of Oren Curtis and Susan (Jones) Maxson.
She moved with her family from Nebraska to Pavillion to homestead in 1937.
She was of the Christian faith.
Her family said she enjoyed gardening and doing crafts and was a sweet-tempered, easy-to-get-along-with lady.
She is survived by her brothers, Stanley Maxson of Riverton and Roy Maxson of Riverton; sister Dorothy Eisemann of Riverton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers John, Alfred and Arthur Maxson.
