R. Joyce Forrester was born June 2, 1940, in Livingston, Mont., the daughter of Nina June (Bohn) and Olin Beltran Forrester. She was one of six children and the family lived in a cabin at a gold mining camp in Jardine, Mont. When she was in school, the family moved to Lockwood, Mont., to become dry land farmers. She graduated from Billings Senior High School in 1958.
While in nursing school in Billings, Mont., she met James Mole, and the two were married on June 27, 1959. Right after the marriage they moved to Riverton, where they lived until their passing. Together they raised three children.
After her children were born she worked at the "old" hospital as a nurse respiratory therapist. She also worked as a cook at the Koffee Kup, the Country Club, and the Eagles whenever they needed help. She was a 4-H leader and was involved with all of her children's activities. She was a past member of the Ladies Auxiliary with the Eagles.
Her family said she enjoyed decorating cakes, gardening, quilting, sewing, crafts of all kinds, fishing and hunting. Above all she loved being with her family, children and grandchildren.
