Max Harold Ecker Sr. died Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, at his home in Riverton. He was 60 years old.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at Davis Funeral Home in Riverton. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. A visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, at Davis Funeral Home.

Max Harold Ecker was born June 8, 1953, in Riverton, the son of Harold E. and Gladys M. (Elwood) Ecker.

On May 23, 2010, he married Marina Borisovna Resler in Las Vegas.

He was self-employed for most of his life.

His family said he enjoyed fishing, traveling, sightseeing, cooking and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Marina, of Riverton; children Max (Yvonne) Ecker Jr. of Riverton and K'Lynn (Chris) Sinner of Scottsbluff, Neb.; grandchildren Skyler, Damieon, Drake, Mia, Ayva, Braxden and Abby; and brother Sam Ecker of Riverton.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of Davis Funeral Home.
