Forrest M. Wisner, formerly of Riverton, died March 5, 2014, at his home. He was 74 years old.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home, 75 S. 13th Ave., in Brighton, Colo.

Forrest Wisner was born in December 1939 in Denver, the son of Mark and Erma (Shoemaker).

He graduated from Riverton High School, and then joined the U.S. Navy. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, he attended the University of Wyoming, where he graduated in 1969 with a degree in conservation.

He married Joyce (Lank), and they raised two children, Mark Wisner and Elizabeth Cary Wisner-Kinsey, both of Denver.

He is survived by his wife and children; sisters Marcia Siek of Buffalo and Sylvia Singer of Cody; grandchildren Michaela and Aspen Wisner and Chloe and Ziva Kinsey; and many nephews and nieces.

Arrangements are under the direction of Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton, Colo.
