Charles A. Boyle died Thursday, March 13, 2014, at Westward Heights Care Center in Lander. He was 86 years old.

A rosary will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, in the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Visitation will follow. A second visitation will be at 9 a.m. Thursday, March 20, in the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.

Charles A. Boyle was born Aug. 1, 1927, in Glencoe, Minn., the son of Charles L. Boyle and Clara (Kegler) Boyle.

In 1953 he married Mary Ann Daubresse. They had four children.

He served in World War II for the U.S. Navy and in the Korean War for the U. S. Air Force.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, U.S. Steelworkers (AFL-CIO board), the Democratic party, the Boone and Crockett Club, and various service organizations.

He was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

His family said he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Boyle; children Kelly (Susan) Boyle, John (Amy) Boyle and Vince (Monique) Boyle; son-in-law Mike Malloy; brothers Gerald (Joan) Boyle, Frank (Donna) Boyle, Greg (Peg) Boyle and Mike (Betty) Boyle; sister Barb (Joe) McGuire; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Kathleen; and one sister-in-law.
