Mar 17, 2014 - By Alejandra Silva, Staff WriterThe Shoshone National Forest is seeking individuals who are interested in becoming a part of the resource advisory committee that collaborates with the U.S. Forest Service on projects to benefit the Shoshone National Forest in Fremont and Park counties.
Committee members serve four-year terms and represent diverse interests in public lands, including, but not limited to, elected and tribal officials, commercial industry, environmental groups, developed and dispersed recreationists, and school officials.
There are currently four vacancies on the Shoshone RAC. Shoshone RAC members must reside in the state of Wyoming.
