Be a Pioneer Days queen

The 2012 Lander Pioneer Days Queen Pageant is at the Lander Old Timers Arena at 6 p.m. on April 26.

Ages for contestants include the queen category from 18 to 23, the junior queen from 13 to 17 and princess from 7 to 12.

Pageant organizers are inviting all young ladies to participate in the contest. Winners will receive gifts and the queen will earn a scholarship to Central Wyoming College.

Applications are at the Lander Chamber of Commerce. The deadline is April 25 and contestants should turn in applications to the chamber.

Pageant organizers are also encouraging the community to get ready for the Pioneer Days Parade. Entry forms are available at the Lander Chamber of Commerce.
