Regarding Ukraine, Crimea and the Soviet Union ... I mean, Russia, who really cares? The U.S. isn't going to do anything about it. It's not like there's an oil field at stake, right?
I would wager that two months ago half of the U.S. Congress couldn't find Ukraine on a map and had never heard of Crimea. Now it's all the rage about how we should respond to what Russia is doing.
We went into Iraq, folks. I know it wasn't exactly the same thing, but this is what big countries do when they decide they have something to gain. I sure don't want to fight a war with Russia over Crimea. We just have to shake our heads and try to be a better country than they are.
