Murder suspect back in Montana; arrested in Fremont County

(AP) -- One of two suspects in the murder of a woman on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation has returned to Montana from Wyoming to face federal charges.
Forty-four-year-old Garrett Sidney Wadda was booked into the Yellowstone County Detention Facility Tuesday after waiving extradition proceedings in Wyoming, where he was arrested last week and jailed in Lander.
Wadda is due to be arraigned Wednesday in federal court on charges of first-degree murder and aggravated sexual abuse in the death of Hanna Harris. A conviction would mean a mandatory life sentence in prison.
Harris, a 21-year-old single mother, disappeared July 4. Her body was found along a creek on the reservation four days later.
A second suspect, 41-year-old Eugenia Ann Rowland, is being held in South Dakota.
She faces a count of second-degree murder.
