NIPWATER

A son was born to Raylene Warren and Myron Nipwater, of Fort Washakie, at 11:56 a.m. Feb. 13 at Riverton Memorial Hospital. He weighed 9 pounds.

PALMA

A son was born to April and Joseph Palma, of Hudson, at 9:37 p.m. Feb. 17 at Riverton Memorial Hospital. He weighed 6 pounds, 6.7 ounces.

PIQUETTE

A daughter was born to Kathryn and Evan Piquette, of Riverton, at 1:49 a.m. Feb. 3 at Riverton Memorial Hospital. She weighed 6 pounds, 3 ounces.

REID

A daughter was born to Annette and Darrell Reid, of Pavillion, at 4:20 p.m. Feb. 12 at Riverton Memorial Hospital. She weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces.

REINICK

A son was born to Echo and Clayton Reinick, of Riverton, at 7:44 a.m. Jan. 27 at Riverton Memorial Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces.

REVERE

A son was born to Raven and Leroy Revere, of Lander, at 3:31 p.m. Feb. 3 at Lander Regional Hospital. He weighed 8 pounds, 6.7 ounces.

Deaths

TREMBLEY

Salena Trembley of Riverton died Thursday, March 27, 2014. She was 99.

Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Saturday April 5, at the Davis Funeral Home in Riverton, with burial at Mountain View Cemetery.

REID

Richard Lee Reid, 61, of Shoshoni, died Wednesday, March 19, 2014, in Salt Lake City.

Memorial mass is at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 9 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Red Lodge, Mont. Smith-Olcott Funeral Chapel of Red Lodge is assisting with the arrangements.

KISLING

Scott A. Kisling of Riverton died Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at the Wyoming Retirement Center in Basin. Services are pending.

HUGUS

Riverton resident Harold Meredith Hugus died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014. He was 89 years old.

A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Sunday, April 6, at First Church of the Nazarene, 406 E. Sunset in Riverton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to help defray medical expenses.

Emergency calls

In Riverton Police Department reports Tuesday to Wednesday morning:

Benjamin Piper, 48, of Arapahoe, was arrested for public intoxication at about 7:20 p.m. Tuesday at Riverton Memorial Hospital.

Chauncey Friday, 47, of Ethete, was arrested for public intoxication at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in an alley in the 200 block of North Ninth Street East.

Theodore Goggles, 72, of Riverton, was arrested for public intoxication at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at the center of Hope, 223 W. Adams Ave.

Jacob Lujan, 33, of Riverton, was arrested for domestic violence assault at about 11:20 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of West Jefferson Avenue. The initial call was regarding a family fight.

In Fremont County Sheriff's Office weekend reports through Wednesday morning:

Ashley Laforme, 25, of Riverton, was arrested on two Fremont County warrants for probation revocation at about 1:20 p.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of East Monroe Avenue in Riverton.

Skyver Magee, 21, of Mills, was arrested for driving under the influence, speeding and failure to maintain his lane at about 9:15 p.m. Friday in the 5500 block of U.S. Highway 26 in Dubois.

William Helms, 80, of Lander, was arrested for domestic violence battery at about 1:30 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of Tweed Lane in Lander. According to reports, a woman in the emergency room at Lander Regional Hospital had been assaulted.

David Rael, 44, of Casper, was arrested on a Fremont County warrant for failure to appear.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol investigated a one-vehicle rollover at about 10 p.m. Friday in the 1400 block of Warm Springs Drive in Dubois. According to initial reports, the vehicle was "up against the fence."

A vehicle reportedly struck a building at about 11:40 a.m. Saturday in Dubois. The hit and run incident is under investigation.

A horse died of injuries suffered after a trailer reportedly rolled at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday on Lysite Moneta Road east of Shoshoni. Initial reports state the horse trailer came loose from its towing vehicle, which was driven by a 19-year-old man who was uninjured. The trailer reportedly was carrying three horses total; no citations were issued.

During this timeframe the Fremont County Emergency Dispatch Center took 244 calls for service including three involving motor vehicle accidents with one reporting property damage.

County ambulances were dispatched 76 times, and area fire departments responded to 24 calls for help.

Twenty-nine people were booked into the Fremont County Detention Center for charges including five for driving under the influence, 14 other alcohol-related charges and 49 misdemeanor charges.

The center currently is responsible for 157 inmates including 144 at the facility, eight in substance abuse treatment programs, one on home detention and four elsewhere.
