Laurie A. Grosgebauer, 44, of Lander, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012, with family by her side in Lander.

Services will be at a later date.

Laurie Ann Lopez was born July 27, 1967, in New Jersey the daughter of Pedro and Betty Lopez. She attended Catholic schools throughout her childhood, growing up in various areas of North Carolina and New Jersey with her sister, Maria Lopez, and her brother, Jesse Lopez.

Her family said she enjoyed going to the beach while living on the East Coast.

She later moved to Wyoming where she married Robert Grosgebauer on Nov. 13, 1998, in Lander. Together they had three sons -- Robert Stack, Cory Grosgebauer and Gordon Hines, and one daughter, Brandi Hines.

The couple made their home in Lander and together owned the Lucky 7 Auto Body shop.

Her family said Mrs. Grosgebauer cared for her family and friends and enjoyed the holidays, demolition derbies and racing stock cars.

She is survived by her husband and four children; her father, Pedro Lopez; her brother, Jesse Lopez; numerous nieces and nephews and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Lopez, and her sister, Maria Lopez.
