Apr 15, 2014 - StaffGrace Ann White Antelope Tointigh died Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation-Wind River in Riverton. She was 69 years old.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, at St. Stephen's Mission with Father Phil Wagnor officiating. Interment was in St. Stephen's Catholic Cemetery.
Grace Ann White Antelope Tointigh was born March 6, 1945, in St. Stephen's, the daughter of the late Agnes Norse White Antelope and Eugene White Antelope.
She was raised on the Wind River Indian Reservation.
She was a homemaker and advocate. She attended schools at St. Stephen's and Chilocco Indian School.
Her family said she enjoyed going to the casino, making shawls, cooking, visiting with her family, and being around her grandchildren.
She is survived by daughters, Karen Callie-Billie, Lucille Stone Calf-Camargo and Agnes Revere Wilson; sons Lloyd and Joseph Callie and Victor Madrid; 19 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Francis Antelope, Lucille Antelope and Angela Shakespeare; and brothers Richard Antelope and Valentine Antelope.
