Apr 16, 2014 - Scott Clement, RivertonEditor:
During the argument about Russia, Ukraine and Crimea, I wrote about members of Congress who are all fired up about it probably couldn't have found Crimea on a map before this all started.
Frank Tanner wrote back that members of Congress would know the poem "The Charge of the Light Brigade" and that it was set in the Crimean War.
I don't know any member of Congress personally, but it doesn't strike me as a poetry-reading bunch. I hope Frank Tanner is right, but I doubt it.
