Apr 28, 2014 - By Alejandra Silva, Staff WriterThe University of Wyoming Fremont County Extension will host a spring private pesticide user school May 5 so farmers, ranchers and hired hands can pass their tests and get their permits.
The class is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the extension office in Lander, 450 N. Second St.
The school is free and includes a one-hour break for students to lunch on their own.
The University of Wyoming Fremont County Extension also will provide two summer private pesticide schools: June 13 in Fort Washakie and June 16 in Crowheart.
People can also visit the offices and complete the tests online, but there is a charge for those courses, which are offered by appointment through the Wyoming Department of Agriculture.
