Regarding "My Health Care," I can say without a doubt that without the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare, I would not have health insurance.
I never had it before with a job. I never even thought about anymore because my work did not have it and it was too expensive for me to get insurance on my own. And I didn't think I needed it.
My friend said I should go on the website to look, and when I went onto the website it told me that with my income, which I can live on OK but is not high, I can get a subsidy for health insurance. So I put in all the numbers, and I can afford a basic health plan for myself. I am 26 years old.
I don't know if I should say this or not, but I haven't ever voted in an election for president the three times I could have, so I really don't know about all the politics involved. But I can say that without Obamacare I would not have been able to get covered, and now I am. That is the story of "My Health Care."
